Save the Children invites applications for the Midwife position for a project named Strengthening National Midwifery Program (SNMP) which will support to improve quality of evidence based midwifery care in selected public health facilities in below mentioned Districts of Bangladesh. 

The role 

The Midwife position will be responsible for initiation and continuation evidence based practices in midwife led care model facilities. This position will work under the administrative umbrella of local manager of MOH&FW and will work as catalyst to initiate the practices among the government-deployed midwives. They will be under supervision of Senior Project Officer and Clinical Mentor, they will be based in UHC or UH&FWC level.  

Qualifications and experience

—    Three years’ degree on Midwifery, preferably from Government affiliated institutions
—    Registered from Bangladesh Nursing & Midwifery Council (BNMC) is mandatory
—    Working experience in Govt. set up will be an advantage
—    Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, 
—    Ability to work under pressure
—    Presentation, team-building and motivation skills
—    Good communication skill
—    Basic computer operation skill in MS Office 
—    Those who are ready to join immediately will be preferred


Contract lengthUp to 31 December, 2021 
Job Location: Different upazila and union level facilities in Cox’s Bazar District
